Notice: Correcting Misinformation About Butterfly Products
We are sincerely grateful to all our customers' long support of Butterfly table tennis products.
Butterfly is committed to consistently providing high-quality table tennis equipment to all our customers, both in Japan and internationally. Recently, we have noticed that incorrect information about our products is being circulated in various countries. We would like to clarify the facts about the Butterfly products offered worldwide.
All Butterfly blades and rubbers made in Japan are manufactured at Butterfly TEC in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture. Through our overseas subsidiaries and distributors in various countries, we deliver the same products to customers around the world.
It has been incorrectly stated by some parallel importers that "blades and rubbers sold in Japan are premium (or high-quality) while those sold outside Japan are inferior (or low-quality)" and that "the serial number on the package distinguishes between high-quality and low-quality products." We want to make it clear that these claims are entirely false.
Butterfly, along with the partners around the world, aims to spread joy throughout the world with table tennis. Therefore, in addition to our activities as a table tennis equipment manufacturer, we are also involved in the operation of Butterfly Table Tennis Dojo, host Butterfly Cups, support other tournaments, and engage in initiatives to promote table tennis globally in cooperation with the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).
When purchasing Butterfly products, we would appreciate it if you could buy them from authorized retailers, table tennis equipment stores or sports equipment stores in your location. Information on purchasing in each country/region can be found on the following page:
